| It Looked Like Maple Syrup - Make & Take Felt Board Story |
In this unique make and take workshop participants will explore several children’s storybooks and extension ideas to introduce young children to the important aspects of maple sugar in Canadian culture. Each participant will leave the workshop with an activity packet to use in their own programs as well as a completed felt board story called It Looked Like Maple Syrup.
Maximum number of participants is 20.
Bring scissors that can cut neatly through felt and a black narrow tip indelible marker. |

Nora Mejia, B.Ed. and E.C.E. Nora’s work in ECE is inspired by the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach as well as Montessori Training. She works for Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre as a Diversity Trainer. She has been enjoying working with children and their families for over 20 years in a variety of settings. |
