DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\nAre you interested in building safe\, inclusive environments for your organization’s LGBTQ2S+ members? Do you want to develop your understanding\, language and skills to better support LGBTQ2S+ families in your work? We can help! This workshop is experiential and interactive\, helping you understand diversity and make your program more inclusive for queer\, trans and Two-Spirit children\, families\, clients and staff.\n\nObjectives:\n\n\n	\n	Identify LGBTQ2S+ terminology and respectful language.\n	\n	\n	Understand gender & sexual exploration in toddlers and children.\n	\n	\n	Discuss how to create more inclusive and safer environments for LGBTQ2S+ children\, families\, clients and staff.\n	\n	\n	Explore resources and referrals for additional learning.\n	\n\n\nBring a bag lunch (½ hour lunch).\n\nSuitable for: students\, parents\, adult instructors/administrators\, novice\, intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals working with children of all ages\, from infant/toddlers to school age children\, including people working in family resource programs.\n\n \n
