Required Experience:

• Experience working with children 2.5- 5 years old
• Provide a safe, nurturing and welcoming early learning environment
• Familiar with aspects of emergent curriculum
• Familiar with theme based curriculum
• Able to facilitate circle or group times and plan engaging developmentally appropriate program activities
• Committed to providing quality childcare experiences for children and families
• Strong communication skills verbally and written
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Willingness to collaborate with teammates, is flexible and adaptable
• Carry out and follow licensing requirements laid out by the Fraser Heath Department
• Able to plan and participate in daily program activities such as field trips and walks
• Able to maintain confidentially of families, children and staff
• Committed to continual professional development

Salary & Benefits:

$20.50 - $22.50 depending on certification. Plus $6WE for those who qualify
