Key Responsibilities:

We are still searching for the perfect fit for our school-aged program manager role. Is this the job posting you have been waiting for? Do you want to work with a small community of like-minded reggio-inspired educators and a not-for-profit society committed to professional development for their educators? Read on!

Location: Richmond, BC (Cambie and 5 road, Mitchell Elementary)

Rate of pay: as per our contract grid, 24.50 - 25.50 per hour , based on relevant experience, plus WE if eligible

You: Splatters of paint in your hair. Clay under your fingernails. Your body holds go-to knowledge of how to solve the problem of accidentally tearing paper when you erase-too-enthusiastically and how to use the colour wheel to avoid making muddy colours (except when you want to have muddy colours). You likely own a glue gun. Glitter does not scare you (aside from the environmental impact, but you know how to make climate-change-responsible glitter anyways). You can write spontaneous lyrics to replace The Wheels on The Bus that rival anything Lin-Manuel Miranda has created.

Importantly, you know how to connect with school-aged children and their families. You can throw "6-7" into any conversation without grimacing. You know all the words to Golden from K-Pop demon hunters, even though that is "so 2025". You know the rules to Pokemon Go. You can battle in a bey blad stadium without fear.

We are looking for you! As a reggio-inspired program, we are looking for educators who genuinely find joy and inspiration in exploring materials and creating together with children. Our successful candidate believes in relationship-based learning and will commit to building positive teacher-parent and teacher-child relationships.

Us: We are a Reggio-inspired Not-For-Profit society running programs for children 0 - 12 in Richmond and Vancouver BC. This position is for a Manager for our School Aged After School Care program (located at Mitchell Elementary).

Our educators who find a life-long home with us are those who genuinely want to grow and learn. We have high professional standards, and our educators are able to meet the BCQAS exceeding standards in their planning, environment and relationships. We believe in research-based teaching, and participate in professional development to support ongoing learning.
