Creative Minds Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced and passionate, Early Childhood Educator to join our 3-5 team.
Creative Minds Early Learning staff members are inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework and especially enjoy forest play with the children. The right candidate will be able to understand and provide emergent curriculum planning.
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid BC Basic Early Childhood Education Certificate preferred but ECEA will be considered.
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
- Knowledge of the BC Early Learning Framework
- Understanding and commitment to creating inclusive spaces
- Exceptional guiding and caring skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Commitment to collaborative dialogue and teamwork

Required Experience:
Minimum 6 months of experience in licensed childcare
Key Responsibilities:
With the guidance of four team members, you will provide high quality programming inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework.
Salary & Benefits:
- Regular full-time position 30 hours per week (6 work hours per day)
- Compensation: 24.50/hour, plus $6 Wage Enhancement for ECE
- Benefits: health benefit plan after 6 months, paid vacation (up to 6 weeks), sick leave and professional development opportunities.
