Experienced ECE /Montessori Lead Teacher Needed

Qualifications: Basic ECE
Additional Qualifications:
ECE license to practice in BC
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
Clear Criminal Record Check
Montessori Training is preferred
Required Experience:
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is required.
- Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods or certification is highly desirable but not required; training opportunities are available for committed candidates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development is necessary.
- Must demonstrate patience, creativity, and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons based on Montessori curriculum standards.
- Observe and assess individual student progress to tailor learning activities that meet their unique needs.
- Maintain a prepared environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for children’s natural development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative educational community.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Support children's social-emotional growth through respectful guidance and modeling appropriate behaviors.
Salary & Benefits:
Based on experience, from $24.00/hour - 26.00/hour
