Additional Qualifications:
- 20 hours of Responsible Adult Training or equivalent in accordance with licensing requirements
- Minimum 19 years old.
- A valid first aid certificate, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
- Compliance with all immunizations as required for licensed childcare.
- A criminal record check clearance letter.
- School Age Child Care certificate and/or relevant education are an asset.
Required Experience:
- Experience working with school age children.
- Experience working in a culturally diverse childcare or recreational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children.
- Implement age-appropriate activities.
- Serve daily after school snack.
- Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness of the Centre.
Salary & Benefits:
- $20.00 per hour during training and orientation.
- $23.24 per hour after successful completion of probation period
Additional Notes:
Hours of work are Monday through Friday 1:30pm to 6:00pm.
