The total amount families will save will be based on the number and ages of their children and the type of child care they receive, with more expensive kinds of care seeing deeper fee cuts. 

Effective December 1, 2022, parents will save up to $550 more per child on their monthly child care bills. This fee cut will put up to $6,600 more back into the pockets of parents, every year, for every child in kindergarten and under that they have in participating centres. This is in addition to the up to $350 per month per child in existing savings for families.

The monthly amount that individual families pay will depend on the current fees charged by their provider.
