Let’s explore creativity outside of the box! We will explore ways to develop Mindfulness while nurturing creativity and play, inside and outside of the classroom. Each evening will include activities that can be incorporated into the early learning environment. In these engaging sessions, Lyn and Gina will include many aspects of creativity: Art, Music, Movement, Play and Language. Mindfulness is the lens through which all these qualities of the imagination will be viewed from; with an emphasis on allowing for spontaneity in the moment. The first night will enable participants to explore their own creativity through some fun activities, and also be guided in a visualization meditation with Gina. The second evening will be led by Lyn, and will be full of wonderful ideas to practice with children. Come ready to be inspired! These sessions are process-oriented (using creativity as a meditation) and do not require any artistic skills or experience.

Note: Bring a pencil or coloured pencils, blank paper, scissors and comfy clothing.
