>View All Dates

Many child care providers work with mixed‐age groups that include children of many different ages. It can be difficult to plan a child care curriculum that is appropriate (and safe) for infants through school‐age. Are you looking for new ideas? This workshop will help you plan a curriculum for a multi-age group that includes creativity and curiosity while supporting a child’s imagination.

Living Inquiries:

  • Well-being and belonging.

  • Engagement with others, materials and the world.

Pathways:

  • Joy in relationships with people, place, materials and ideas.

  • Diversity and difference.

  • Time for engagement.

  • Exploring materials and curriculum ideas when working with multiple ages.

Suitable for students, parents, intermediate and experienced early care and learning professionals working with children of all ages, from infants/toddlers to school age children, including children with extra support needs.

Vicki provided licensed family child care in Coquitlam from 1989 to 2018. She is a passionate child care advocate and has received many awards. Vicki presents many workshops and believes in sharing her knowledge with those who have chosen a career working with children.
