ECE – Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate play-based learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate and guided by children’s interests, strengths, and emerging ideas.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share observations, learning stories, and documentation, including photographs, and contribute to classroom and program communication

• Build trusting and respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers through clear and thoughtful communication.

• Observe, document, and assess children’s growth and learning through play, using this information to guide planning and share meaningful feedback with families.

• Work with team members to create inclusive play experiences that support diverse abilities and individual needs, ensuring all children can participate fully.

• Use positive, child-centered, and respectful guidance strategies to support children’s social and emotional development.

• Encourage independence, resilience, and self-help skills through daily routines, including eating, dressing, and toileting.

• Maintain accurate records, participate in staff meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development as required.

Salary & Benefits:

• $20-23/hr + BC Wage Enhancement

• $500 bonus at successful completion of 1 year
