On-Call (casual) Early Childhood Educator
Reach Developmental Preschool (North and South Delta) is looking for a licensed Early Childhood Educator to join our team! If you have a passion for working with children and families and are committed to delivering a quality, caring and supportive child care program that addresses the child and family’s unique needs, we would love to hear from you!
Additional Qualifications:
- Current ECE certificate. Special Needs or Infant/Toddler/ Under 3 certificate is an asset
- Current First Aid Certificate, approved by licensing
- Clear criminal record search
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Experience working in an inclusive program
- Knowledge and understanding of the B.C. Early Learning Framework
Key Responsibilities:
- Program planning and implementation of the daily curriculum
- Building relationships with families
- Working within a team framework to meet the needs of the children and families
- Overseeing support staff
- Working collaboratively with the Preschool Coordinator and therapists, as needed
Salary & Benefits:
- $21.40 per hour plus 9% vacation and statutory holiday pay added on each pay cheque and B.C. Wage Enhancement
